What is Ergonomics?

Ergonomics is how you interact with your environment.
More formally, ergonomics is the study of human capabilities in relationship to work demands. The term “ergonomics” is derived from two Greek words: “ergon” (work) and “nomoi” (natural laws).
The goal of ergonomics is to provide a workplace environment that “fits” the worker, in order to prevent repetitive strain injuries (RSI) that can develop over time and result in long-term disability.
